Default A day at the range

Boy there is not a better feeling than the temperature at 6am being 55 degrees on the 30th of June, unless you get to go to the range with your muzzleloader and crack off about 16 rounds. It was just great but it sure wakens me up that I need to practice year around. If I don't the groups will humble me pretty quick as the first two did. Only 3.5 months til muzzleloader season! A fellow had a cronograph there and let me use it. Encore Pro Hunter 45 cal sabots Hornady, 200 grain 110 grains Blackhorn with a winchester standard 209 primer. 2204 fps. I love this country!

pretty impressive fps! I wasn't able to get to the range last weekend as the club had a 3d archery shoot going on and they don't allow range fire during special events.
