better stock quality than what tc uses. barrel has nice deep grooves like they all should.

Go call tc and ask about conicals in their rifles.. Uh oh you just bought a rifle that can only shoot sabots.

The quality is fine. It doesnt have an over priced tag because they do use cute rubber stocks and beef up the price due to their marketing expense.

sorry but can't agree with you on this one! By the way, my TC Firehawk shoots conicals perfectly it was made for them and it will group 1"@100 yds if I do my part and that's not securing it in a shooter's mechanical rest, just a rolled up towel on a table. It's a excellent shooter and much nicer in looks, stainless/nickle over walnut, in my humble opinion. Why would anyone want to shoot a conical from a fast twist barrel? I don't understand your point on this. 1-28" is for sabots, 1-35" for conicals, 1-48" conicals and ok for round ball, 1-65-1-70" round ball exclusive.

its a mater of opinion and as you know i owned one, a cva.
i know quality when i see, hold it, and touch it. i've been handling guns of all types for 40 years, and i haven't seen it, quality, form cva and honestly traditions either. there is a huge difference between functional and quality work. as a mater of fact its something i deal with every day with my work trying to explain the difference to home owners. some get it some don't.

I have a Thompson New Englander, a Knight disk and a Remington and I will pull the Remington over the Knight every hunt. It shoulders and shoots very well, it's a shame they don't make them any more.

Yes it looks just like a Rem 700, wait I think it is a Rem 700 MZ. The balance on that gun is great. Seems a lot MZ's are barrel heavy. My Remington has the feel of a rifle.
