Smokeless Powder Not Legal in Vermont

For all you guys with the Savage smokeless powder muzzleloaders! In the State of Vermont it is illegal to use smokeless powder. The law reads "black powder or other non-smokeless powder". Hope you can use something else in those guns.

I would think that smokeless is better for the environment.

you can use black in them but that kinda defeats the purpose of the rifle.
