New to the muzzle loading game so have been reading a lot of info and posts you guys have supplied. Finally got out in the snow this morning to try out my new Traditions .50 cal - and absolutely love it! Just a few hours this morning has converted me to the smoke pole generation - shot very tight groups under the conditions (-6C and snow) - so can't wait to get a chance at the whitetails this fall. I'm sure I'll be doing a LOT of shooting with it over the summer.. Poor old .300 mag is going to feel left out....
