been doing the bow alot but i want to get some range time in.problem is the close range is only open on weekends and they are busy for me.the other range is a bit of a drive and what with the price of gas and all.....

Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison.

And last phase, we must manage this resource so our children and their children can experience the grand tradition of good deer hunting." - Jim Slinsky

I wish I was close to a range as I love to shoot. I have to drive 25 miles to shoot so I need to preplan. Let's see, I get 18 miles a gallon @ $4.05/gal =$11.22 total cost per round trip.

I have 4 Friday's scheduled off in Oct to bowhunt. My routine is to hunt until 11:00AM in my morning spots then go to the gun range midday to shoot for a few hours then hit my afternoon spot for the balance of the day. The shooting pit is only 4 miles from my core hunting spots. It's funny how the price of a gallon of gas changes one's behavior.

No shooting for me until the doc gives me the release ok. I've set the 1st of OCT as my goal to start shooting both gun & bow. We'll see!

EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING
