Is this a good pick?

Going to buy a muzzle loader this weekend the one i own is a H&R switch barrel it goes from a 20 gauge slug gun to a muzzle loader only problem is the sighting in each time the barrel is changed to big of a hassle.

First off your pick will give you decent service for many years. I have shot TC products since the mid 70's and still believe they make great firearms. I also have Traditions and can attest to great guns for the money. CVA has sold many Wolf models so that says something about it. I myself would lean towards TC or Traditions, just my thoughts.

the cva wolf is a good entry level muzzleloader but I would much rather see a hunter equipped with a Traditions or a thompson's center (TC). My first Traditions was a .50 caliber, build it yourself rifle kit. Wish I still had that one. Good Luck on whichever you choose.
