Default 45 cal 260 gr Precision Rifle Dead Center

Just got a load of 40 cal 260 gr bullet with 45 cal sabots from dead center.
Always wondered why you couldn't get larger bullets than 200 grain for a 45 cal muzzleloader.
Gonna use my encore pro hunter with blackhorn and see how I do.
Now the rest of you can probably shoot a fly off a mules a.. at 200 yds but that is not me, so if you hear 1.5 at 100 that probably as well as this ole boy can do.
I'll let you know what little I learn

Remember modern rifle makers only stated 1" groups at 100 yds so 1.5" at 100 yds with stuffing it yourself is pretty good. My eyesight isn't what it once was but off a bench I still can shoot 1" at 100 yds, scoped of course with most of my rifles. Flintlocks, open sights, I accept 1" at 50 yds as ok for me. Most of my shots with a ML are under 100yds anyway. Good luck with the new bullet/combo.
