No Black Horn

Bass Pro has been out of Black Horn powder for several weeks now, the counterman didn't know when they might get a shipment in. Not sure if I have enough to even get the rifles sighted in. Anyone else seeing a shortage in BH powder??

I have had the same problem right before season a few years back. I currently keep 4 cans on the shelf. Use one: replace with another and rotate stock. This is the best insurance there is - I also do the same with primers and bullets.

No current shortage of BHP but Sportsman's Warehouse currently has the best prices!

Same here, I have a couple of BP rifles that need sighted in. I installed a peep on my flintlock and haven't sighted it in yet.

I took a ride this afternoon and found a soybean field within 200 yards of a state gamelands. Not far from home, the downside is its in an area with a lot of hunting pressure.May be an option in the October muzzleloader season.I'm not an archery hunter.

HM,
The Gander Mountain Store in Muncy, Pa (Williamsport) had five containers last night. There were six!

Yes, actually it is a good solution to stock up, you will not need to search when you need.
