Barrel problems

Guys, Bought a Bergara barrel 50 cal for my Encore Pro Hunter. The barrel goes on nicely snaps shut nice and snug but heres the rub.
When I load a sabot in the barrel it goes in nice and secure until it is about 3 or 4 inches from contacting the powder then just sort of drops in, like the last little way is loose??? Perhaps I need to have this barrel looked at? I bought it used but very little.

should load consistant all the way. Some are easy some are tight but never loose and tight or fall through. I'd send it to them and see what's wrong.
