Default i need help on where to hunt???

where should i hunt this muzzleloader weekend... December, 8 2007

i have this little field that i have 2 deer feeders in, i haven't seen much action there.

and i have river bottom that i saw 20 rubs yesturday evening as i was scouting, but i think the deer was coming in there during the night, should i set up beside a trail where they come out of the river bottom into the hollow or where???


I need some help...

try the river bottom go in before first light maybe you can ambush one on its way to bed.I saw new rubs sunday also

if i were u i would set up about an hour before daylight right next to your river,pond,etc. and there youll get a deer.

Deer usually feed more at night try setting up in the river bottom. Is there big crossing signs there?

Unless you're really scent free I would be concerned with wind direction and set up accordingly. Going down into a low area will hold your scent in there also. Maybe a side hill location over looking trails would be better. Don't forget the mid day this can be a great time to harvest. Good Luck. I'll be in PA right after Christmas with my trusty flintlock and real black powder!
