try the river bottom go in before first light maybe you can ambush one on its way to bed.I saw new rubs sunday also

Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison.
Genesis 27:3 "The thinking deer hunter should mature through three phases during his hunting life. First phase, "I need to kill a deer." Second phase, I want to harvest a nice deer. And last phase, we must manage this resource so our children and their children can experience the grand tradition of good deer hunting." - Jim Slinsky

Deer usually feed more at night try setting up in the river bottom. Is there big crossing signs there?

Unless you're really scent free I would be concerned with wind direction and set up accordingly. Going down into a low area will hold your scent in there also. Maybe a side hill location over looking trails would be better. Don't forget the mid day this can be a great time to harvest. Good Luck. I'll be in PA right after Christmas with my trusty flintlock and real black powder!
