i need help on where to hunt???
 

where should i hunt this muzzleloader weekend... December, 8 2007

i have this little field that i have 2 deer feeders in, i haven't seen much action there.

and i have river bottom that i saw 20 rubs yesturday evening as i was scouting, but i think the deer was coming in there during the night, should i set up beside a trail where they come out of the river bottom into the hollow or where???

try the river bottom go in before first light maybe you can ambush one on its way to bed.I saw new rubs sunday also:tongue:

if i were u i would set up about an hour before daylight right next to your river,pond,etc. and there youll get a deer.

Deer usually feed more at night try setting up in the river bottom. Is there big crossing signs there?

Unless you're really scent free I would be concerned with wind direction and set up accordingly. Going down into a low area will hold your scent in there also. Maybe a side hill location over looking trails would be better. Don't forget the mid day this can be a great time to harvest. Good Luck.
