almost that time again
 

Kansas deer season opens two weeks from today. Finally finished building our box blind and got it set up. I hope I can get one with my bow this year. When does your season open?

Our season opened August 1st, but is bucks-only on the mainland until September 15th. Then it goes until December 31st unless you're in a subsistence area (Juneau is not).

My bow trip to the UP of Michigan is a go. One of my good long time hunting/fishing buddies is going with me to meet up with another long time buddy at his camp. We never see record bucks but plenty of deer and never a bad time always leave with great memories. We leave around Oct 3-4th for a week or so, better start getting stand/gears out and readied. Fall is right around the corner!

We open 15 days earlier this year sept 15th its hot today but a cold front is coming by Saturday lows in the upper 50s is starting to sound a lot like hunting season

Here in Missouri, bow season will open Sept 15th also. Its 97 outside right now with heat index around 105 but also suppose to cool off saturday into mid 70's.

Muzzleloading season opens the same day, so that's what I'll be doing. :yes:

The rifle hunt in Utah starts October 20-28. Cant wait. I just ordered a GPS map showing BLM, Forest land and private property. Was so confused last year when we had 5 or 6 units. This year there are 30 small units so I should be ready. I have the Elk hunt starting next Sat.
