Bought a new pack of Rayovac c- cell batteries for my trail cam and after 26 pictures, a cold front moved in and killed them! I got sick of spending the money on those batteries that dont last long and so i went and drilled a hole, clipped the +/- cables and wired them into 2 foot extension wires and there hooked up to alligator clips and hooked it into the solar panel and a re-chargeable 6volt battery! Take that battery companies! No more $12 per month on your stinkin stuff that doesnt last.
Wish i had done this when i first got the trail camera! LOL. My new pictures are a heck of a lot more brighter and clearer now that they have full juice in the system.
Tired of trail camera batteries!
