This was the first one of the season, second day.

Sweet.. I think on my 2nd day in the woods I only saw squirrels..

What part of GA you hunting? I have hunted the North part around Ringgold before. Thats where all my family lives.

I live in Lagrange, maybe 70 miles Southwest of Atlanta, close to the AL line. Hunt about three miles from my house.

I got a six point two weeks ago, or as they call it here a three point. Never figured that one out?

Head out on Friday to my lease in tx and hopefully will get number two.

I lived in Madison for a while and traveled to Roanoke Al. I know exactly where you are, very pretty country. I hunted the Redlands portion of the Oconee national forest.
