Huntin' tonight...

Going out tonight and sitting in the wagon blind. Going to take the bow, but mainly going for scouting. This is part of the property that I have no hunted in over a year and rarely ever go back to. It's a corner of hayfield that is completely surrounded on two sides by thick woods. Wish me luck!

That did happen as a matter of fact.. but it was early enough in the afternoon before anything would "come out". Didn't see a darn thing. Too windy. I bet we had 20 mph winds with gusts up to 30mph all evening long till dark. Enjoyed being out in nature though, pretty relaxing and didn't have to hear a 2 month old cry.

Did have the scare of my life though.... as I was walking back to the Chevy it was just light enough to see about 15 yds in front of you and that's it. Well, good thing too b/c I stumbled onto a SKUNK! man, that made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

Step on a pole cat and you will be living in the wagon. You wont see your Dear or deer for quite some time.

A bath in tomato juice??? or was it grapefruit juice???

i'm pretty sure it's tomato juice... at first I thought it was a cat or small dog, but i saw that white and ran with bow in my hand. Didn't think I could run that fast. Then the obvious thought going through your head at that point is "oh crap it's running after me" so then you run even faster till you're about to hyperventilate.
