First deer.

My first deer was a 7 point and just wanted to know other peoples first deer

My first deer wa a 5 pt, I thing I was 11 years old. I was so nervous, I thought I was shooting a doe. When i found him and seen horns I thought I was king of the woods!!! lol

PA 4 pt. Opening morning,3 inches of fresh snow.Saw beds and tracks.Sat about 60 yards uphill on a log.They came back about 9 o'clock.

I'm afraid my "first" was a lot like CD's . . . not exactly much to be proud of.

Mama had heard the rifle shot and asked if I'd gotten anything when I walked into the house.

I told her that I'd just shot Bambi.

Just glad that I've learned a thing or two since then. (like how to judge how big they are, even if it takes putting a T-post downrange with different colored strings starting 36" off the ground).
