Well, it became apparent yesterday that the several sightings of foxes (even two at a time) in our yard now likely means we have a whole family of foxes living under our big shed out back. I'd know just how to take care of this problem
IF we didn't live within the city limits and also in a subdivision (fairly big lots).
Our lot backs up to a farm and it's apparent they like the easy access as well as the many rabbit dinners they've enjoyed since moving in a bit over a week ago. Several hits with both a BB gun and pellet gun have not seemed to deter their resolve. Does anyone have a recommendation for a chemical that will make them want to vacate the shed area? For the record, I've spoken with TWRA and they have
zero cares or concerns except to tell me that "NO" I cannot live trap and relocate them. I'm supposed to simply put up with the problem as far as they are concerned
As you might imagine, my wife is not at all pleased that she no longer feels safe in her back yard. Nor is she comfortable any more with the grand kids playing there. The whole
fox family showed up not 30 minutes after we all were outside in the back yard (7 people) and proceeded to romp and play until stung by a pellet or three.
Help??
