naw what i edited wasnt that bad. we just try to keep it overly clean for the young folks on here... i got to get the forum rules up sometime soon. so i can retire from editing so much
The reason you see squirrels is that you are in the right place! Deer and squirrels eat acorns... so do turkeys. SO you see them in the same places. I generally set up in a woods where I see squirrels, especially if I have never hunted that woods before. (and generally see deer).
About the Jays: They really tick me off!!! Been busted more times by them than anything else!!! Even if you stay still they will hang out forever till you move.
After they leave, I make a few short grunts to make it look like they were harassing a buck... (seems to work...)

last year while sitting in my stand overlooking my feeder i was entertained by 3 squriels and a doe with 2 tearlings the doe was most enterested in eating but the yearlings and squriels played tag or chase for what seemed like 15 minets i had a hard time not lol i too believe that they are a natural in the woods
Just last weekend I had a run in with a ton of squirrels. I had them swinging from my tree-stand and barking on the tree branch behind me. Needless to say it was a rather miserable hunt. Oh by the way I did not see any deer. It could be quite possible that it was because I was trying not to get attacked. So in a way the can effect your deer hunting.

They either tell the deer you're there or warn you of incoming Deer. LOL
