coyote activity

Ive been hearing a lot of coyoties down around my hunting area the past week. I have not been down there to check it out but how will this affect the deer in the area? They usually stick around for a week or two when they make their rounds and then dissappear for a couple of months before coming back around.

With our season opening back up on the 18th I was just wondering how this would affect the deer in the area.

It will definately affect them in a negative way. Deer use their ears and nose the most of all their senses. If they hear/smell coyotes close, they'll be outta there fast. BUt if they hear coyotes off in the distance they will be more likely to stay put and keep their guard up. If I were you, I would shoot any coyotes that you can. They are getting thick around my area here in north central MO.

We had 2 labs running are deer for a weeks
I was watching 3 doe when they heard them bark on the other side of the woods ..They put there ears up and took off running away from the bark
Its a problem
