Well, I do hate to admit that I had to go out into the "back yard" and re-zero the rifles this afternoon after work. Good thing I did. Was 3 1/2 inches high at 25 yrds with one and 3 inches low right with the other. No wonder I wasn't hitting the broad side of a barn - and that's from the inside. (read that somewhere on here and couldn't resist not using it)
Okay, so it's not the end of rifle season (we have another full month here in Texas) or in the middle of bow season, but this just goes to show that some of us are out there trying to make sure we can actually hit what we are aiming at. I was beginning to think the deer were starting to laugh at me when I shot at them.

.. i get so pee'd off over people whom either dont care or dont take the time to read the book n know the fish n game laws. I live in Ky n am in what ky has labled my area of the state as zone 3 (there are 4 zones in ky based on f-n-g studdies n resurch of population numbers for that area on all different game for hunting dates n bag limmits) well for my area wich includes all the neighboring counties are as said zone three wich gun season ended this past monday (was last day) well i've been bow hunting every day even the last weekend of gun but the part im venting is ive heard shots both tuesday and wendsday mornings and evening both damn days. n ya know if their shooting knowing their not supose to be their are not tagging their poched harvest either. wich pisses me off even more since our state is recovering from a hard hit in deer population do to desease. now more than ever we need to help f-n-g with correct bag n check for future huntting.
