I went out to set a new hunting house up for my son we have a week before hunting season opens. We found this I think it is a bedding area. Has scat in it to though. Thoughts?

Here are the rest of the pics of what I think is a bedding area but I am confused by the scat in the bedding area

looks like a good bedding area. the poop kinda clumped together is a sign that the deer was just up from bedding. if it were scattered in single pellets but still close together it means the deer was up and about for awhile. see any fur on the wires??? If that area is grown in really high for a large area it may hold alot more deer.

although the bedding area is on both sides of the Barbed wire fence about 10 feet from the edge of it the fence is open. there was a little hair on the bottom wire where they laid up against it i guess.

Scat in the middle of a bedding spot is normal. after bedding they have to go and will urinate and defecate before moving sometimes. Elk do it almost every time they bed and rise
