I don't hunt pronghorns in Wyoming, but I live in, and hunt them in Montana every year. As for cactus -small prickly pear are ubiquitous in this part of the country, so you would be wise to plan for them. Leather gloves, unless they are really thick won't keep them from getting you. Personally, I haven't found any gloves the will prevent you from getting stuck - just be careful where you put your hands down when crawling. You might consider getting some hard (padded) knee guards - the kind builders use - to protect your knees. In any case, bring a pair of small good tweezers as there is almost no way to do a good pronghorn hunt and NOT get stuck.
