Hunting Man,
yeah, it is a jungle. I have been making repeat visits and every time I go there it is like a new place. and yes, come late October it will be brown and down. most grass is chest high right now and forest vegetation is just below the waist.

LOTS of ticks. never seen it so bad.
I dont beleive they are bedding here its a major funnel area that lots of deer use. as a matter of fact she is using the same trail that I caught several does on video cam using last fall. when the zoom is complete is the area the trail cam was placed and the does are entering the funnel. I went out Sunday afternoon to hang the trail cam. I spent about an hour and a half talking to the land owner whos property I have to access to get in the north end of the conservation district. You couldnt meet a nicer guy. he only knows me from my request to access his property. none the less, he invited me to sit for a spell and we watched the last 26 laps of the nascar race. and had a good conversation. I hope to convince him in the future to lease or sell me 2-4 acres of property right next to the conservation district for a food plot.
anyway, my hunting area again, is under water. I was still able to get in and place the cam. this time on video mode, 60 secs in length 5 sec resets. I retreve the card this weekend to see what may be lurking about.

I have a Moultrie. It's great. I check it about every week. It came with an extra card, so I just swap cards out and take the pics home. So far, I've seem lost of deer, a bob ccat, raccoons, and a coyote.
BTW - What's a snowmobile? I live in Florida. LOL
