I try and hunt what the land is offering. Two years ago I saw a lot of legal bucks and killed a nice 11pt. Last year I saw herds of Doe so that's what I killed.

Just depends on what your herd is doing

I wish the area I hunt offered big bucks but I'm limited to 2 bucks and only 1 doe which sucks because bucks are hard to come by.

I live in Maryland but hunt in Virginia. The public areas in Maryland are over populated and I don't want to pay for a lease. I don't have to pay for a license in Virginia being a property owner but I do to hunt on national forest.
