Boy you have some good areas ronn I wish that I had that many deer in my area. Good luck I will be hunting in the rain for as long as I can Friday,got to pay my dues right.I just want to get a legal buck. I wish I had a bow.

actually i'm pretty sure nh has one of the lowest deer densities east of the mississippi river. it took several years of scouting and learning the woods to put myself in the position to see that many and believe me seeing that many in one hunt is truly abnormal for here. stay after it and you will figure this deer hunting thing out, maybe not the deer but the hunting part for sure.

I have no doubt that New Hampshire and Vermont are the two absolute toughest states to hunt whitetail deer.
NH has a herd size of approx. 80,000 deer with 55,000 licensed gun hunters & 1900 Bow hunters
Vt has a herd size of approx. 120,000 deer with 80,000 licensed gun hunters & 20,000 bow hunters..
