howdy right back at ya

Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison.
Genesis 27:3 "The thinking deer hunter should mature through three phases during his hunting life. First phase, "I need to kill a deer." Second phase, I want to harvest a nice deer. And last phase, we must manage this resource so our children and their children can experience the grand tradition of good deer hunting." - Jim Slinsky

Greetings from Vermont,, glad to have ya with us.

Welcome back to Bow Hunting Whitetails and howdy from WVA. Don't be picky about your first kill, but be accurate. Once you break the ice your life will change in ways you can't imagine. I killed my first by bow from the ground with an old recurve. After that I had a dry spell for 13 years. That was about 100+ deer ago. Good luck and hunt hard.
