New Here

Hello to everyone. I'm new here .
I came to shooting later in life, and am new to hunting. My grandad always hunted and while we always ate his venison we never discussed hunting. I guess coming coming into the fold late is better than never.

These are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman.

Greetings from Vermont, stoner44magunm Glad to have you aboard.
At whatever point in life we begin shooting and hunting it's good to know
that point doesn't determine the amount of excitment we will experience.

welcome to the campfire nothing like the feel of a warm gun........

Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison.
Genesis 27:3 "The thinking deer hunter should mature through three phases during his hunting life. First phase, "I need to kill a deer." Second phase, I want to harvest a nice deer. And last phase, we must manage this resource so our children and their children can experience the grand tradition of good deer hunting." - Jim Slinsky
