Missed my shot...

...for a Buck this season. Cant make it out to the lease again before Christmas, and I'm leaving for Hawaii on the 26th and dont get back till the 4th! Which perfectly enough, is the last day of the regular season. *sigh*

Oh well. Spike and doe season doesnt end till the 13th so hopefully I can get out there and put some meat in the freezer.

After that I have to wait until April for Turkey season to start up again.

I guess I could varmint hunt in the mean time.

Still, I wish I couldve made it out to the lease one more time this season and get another shot at a buck.

Anyway, I need to get back to my wife's honey do list, just wanted to mope. Stinkin' list gets longer everyday...

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the outcome of the vote.
