Genesis 27:3 "The thinking deer hunter should mature through three phases during his hunting life. First phase, "I need to kill a deer." Second phase, I want to harvest a nice deer. And last phase, we must manage this resource so our children and their children can experience the grand tradition of good deer hunting." - Jim Slinsky

Yeah, what Topher's dad said was that its better that I have that "I shouldve shot it!" situation rather than having shot it and wishing that I hadnt.

I was very clear with myself when I went out that if I shot anything it was going to be a single bullet and that the deer would be dead in a matter of minutes. I was going to be very sure of my shots, not going out with an M60 and doing some spray and pray.
