Default question on does during rut

I was told that the does will lose their yearlings when they are ready to breed. I am still seeing alot of does still with their offspring from last year.

doe fawns will usually stay with their mother much longer than a yearling bucks will...doe fawns tend to stay with their mother for about 2 years (if they leave at all), we still a "family group" that has been together for about 3.5 yrs now.
