i did one last year it came out great i used a commercial kit/bottle.i was from a place called adirondack trapper supply,i think.it was a small bottle.you have to skin the deer then you have to use a scrapper to get all fat and meat off the hide.the you soak it in a soloution of borax and kosher salt.then you aplly the solution and let it sit overnight.then yo lay it flat and let it dry ,occasionally streching the hide.i didnt stretch it enough so it was a little stiff.give it a try its a diffrent kind of trophy
