ok i called f&g and they said it is ok to do within the scope of the other laws. no more than 6 in a hunting party, direct control of a youth, and so on. but it is illegal to do with moose.

No more than 6 in a hunting party? Why is that Ron?? And are the laws really that strict with Moose?

My wife and I use radios but don't chat on them. Just for emergency and help. Usually around 10 am it's "Come help me down, I gotta pee"

Ronn - Thanks for the follow up. I did not know those restrictions on moose hunting. Because I never get drawn for a tag I am not really up to date on the current moose laws. I would expect some similiar reply back on my pending e-mail.

southern man maybe you should take care of that before you go. grin Deer drives and shoot anything attitudes can wipe the deer right out of an area. and yes with the moose. the co 's will help you get a moose out by opening gates and such but you can bet your rifle they will chat info out of you looking for violations. I've been drawn once and sub twice. maybe my turn next year heh? i'll be in there like six times.
