Good post BB, seems like every part of the country has had something to deal with this year. My best wishes go out to all who have had to endure mother nature's deeds. HM

South Padre Island got hit pretty hard...flooding..the worst thing that happend to someone as of now(that I know of)....a 17 year-old was standing on a balcony of a hotel and got blown off the side and sustained a broken hip and a fractured leg, and a head injury....but that is all I have seen on the far...but some of the family friends live in South Texas around McAllen and they are ok....
Tell me and I forget. Show me and I remember. Involve me and I understand.

Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison.
Genesis 27:3 "The thinking deer hunter should mature through three phases during his hunting life. First phase, "I need to kill a deer." Second phase, I want to harvest a nice deer. And last phase, we must manage this resource so our children and their children can experience the grand tradition of good deer hunting." - Jim Slinsky

Glad to hear your good ETD... We did not have a hurricane but a pretty healthy storm moved through Tuesday. One of my biggest trees blew over into the road blocking traffic. Their were folks out there trying to cut it up with a knife and a machete. I did what all good Americans would do. Once the rain slowed a bit I cranked up the chain saw and got busy. It was pretty cool. Everybody got out of their vehicles and pulled stuff away as I cut it. Working together we knocked it out pretty quick. Ya'll would have laughed if you could have seen the expression on the guys face with the machete when I pulled the chainsaw out. Sheer joy is how I would explain it. We had no power for about 10 hrs after that blew through.
