Default Elk in the mountains!

I went for my first horse ride of my vacation yesterday. Great weather, great ride. Saw a herd of about 40 elk on the way back. Also, entered my name on the roster for elk and deer damage control hunts last week. Occasionally, when they get into farmers/ranchers fields, they ask FWP to bring hunters in to help out. It's a bit of a long shot, but doesn't hurt to enter that stuff.

Always enjoy seeing pictures from out there Onehorse. They do the same here with the damage control thing. Good luck
We cannot continue to do the same things and expect different results

hey, somebodys got to do it you never know. Here they just give the farmer a permit and he shoots every deer he sees. It's a shame but they don't allow him to just shoot does, has to shoot the bucks to.
