practice till you can nearly shoot with your eyes closed, don't take a marginal shot, practice good scent control, purchase a good spray and use it even on stand. Be patient on stand, look for well used trails and set up with your back to the sun. That's a start.

Wait for the shot, don't be afraid to let some deer Pass by you if you don't have a good shot, it's better to wait for a good clean shot. Good Luck

I agree with both
most important practice, practice & more practice
with proper form pay attention to your form, nock points ect...
make sure you do the same every time it is a lot to remamber but after awhile you wont have to think about it you will just automaticly do it

The one thing I have learned about bow hunting is that it takes PATIENCE. One thing I sometimes do not have. You have to put in more "work" to be successful bow hunting than you do rifle hunting.

Bow hunting will make you a very good hunter period.

No newbee's

If you have thought of, read of, or asked for advice you are not a newbee. You are a hunter and need to think of yourself as one. Confidence is this most important skill for hunting. You look at your first experiences in the woods as buying your tools to fill your tool box with experience. Take it slow be safe and remember to bring back with you every time you go into the woods something learned to keep in your tool box. Never be afraid to try different things IE tracking, still hunting, and observation.
