Our 1st buck off our lease

Well this morning one of my hunting buds got the first buck off our lease this year. They are just now starting to show signs of the rut on this hunting spot. Its close to the Alabama line so the rut tends to be be late Dec. every year. We have a 6 pt or better buck rule. This is the first buck we have seen in shooting range out of 4 of us hunting it.

Good deal man, you all have fun and enjoy the rut down there. It's all done up here. That pic is odd because I can't relate to a pic with a bare, sun filled background in the end of December. Yall need some snow down there. LOL

Glad to see the lease is paying off.now you got to score with your 15 days off. we expect to see pics of Mr big

Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison.
Genesis 27:3 "The thinking deer hunter should mature through three phases during his hunting life. First phase, "I need to kill a deer." Second phase, I want to harvest a nice deer. And last phase, we must manage this resource so our children and their children can experience the grand tradition of good deer hunting." - Jim Slinsky

Very nice looking Deer... Congrats to the shooter...
