PA

With 3800 doe tags left for the second drawing I sent my app in. Son called me to say he drew two PA doe tags. With work being a major issue this year, some of my trips are in questions as to whether I can get coverage, so I figured late muzzleloader season may be all I get. I just have to see how work plays out. If we get down to three supervisors and go on a 12hr three man shift, no hunting will take place. At the moment not a happy camper with the possibility of not much hunting this fall. We'll see.......

yea I was in that boat last year came close to missing out on my NY trip not happening again. Work knows trips are paid a year in advance (most of it ) so the day I come home I am putting in Vacation time for the following year NY licenses go on sale on the 12th don't know yet what the chances are for doe permits yet

I was thinking closer to the VT side. I love western NY but just to far to maintain property. I hear the hunting is tough the farther east you go but can't be worse then NH I have a lot of research still to do & cash to save.

Ya Dep just know before u buy its gonna be nothing like what you have in Naples. Its all big woods hunting in northern New York.I still think its better than NH but it wont be what your used to in Western Ny.The land is really cheap out that way though certainly cheaper than Steuben county.
