Default Got my Ohio buck back

I had him mounted because he is my first crossbow kill and needed one to balance the wall. I wanted his ears laid back some but not quite this much but I'll live with it. Next to him is a small PA 8 pt from long ago., 1978.

nice buck. ears don't look that bad. Im thinking of having the ears of next one with one ear up and forward and the other back and turned away like hes listening to something and trying to locate its location.

Thanks HB, my son said he likes it so maybe just something that will grow on me. I like your thoughts on the ears thing as it would be a natural pose we've seen a hundred times while hunting.

all of them are very nice mounts. Ears look fine to me too.

Nothing wrong with his ears for me either HM--looks like he's trying to hone in on some sound from a different direction. Nice taxidermy work too!
