Fencing Feeder

Hey Guys, got a question for you. I have a feeder on some family land and they are needing to move cattle into the pasture I hunt. So I need to build a fence around the feeder, how big of an area should I fence off? I want to make it big enough that the deer can jump in a feed, but not sure how big it needs to be in order for the deer to feel safe (not like their jumping into a box). Thanks for the input.

Cows are very, very curious animals... I would make sure you do not have the feed anywhere near the fence. If you had the fence 10-20 ft away from the feed, I would think that will be enough. When it comes to deer.... feed them, and they will come... even if they have to jump a fence everytime to get to it. IMO

yep, that will work and about 4ft high will be plenty. If you have a hog problem use hog panels and bury them in the ground at least 12" to keep them off the feed also
