So I took my TC omega to the big Gander Grand opening. I left it in the truck went to the used gun dept asked the counter guy if they bought guns "yes was the reply" told him I had a nice lightly used TC 50 cal Omega decked out with quality stuff, he said great bring it in for an appraisal. Went to the truck walked back in , the same guy took it out of the case and said sorry we don't take black powder used guns. Made my day! :ranting:
Just a note: Gander Mountain has a store policy that allows only 60% book value for all used firearms, probably not where you would want to do a trade.

I will gladly pay extra to patronize a REAL gun shop and not a big box store.
My guy will ask where you bought the gun and promptly tell you to take it there for repair or whatever.
daddus
plus he uses local people to perform all his services where big box doesn't
Most of the counter people are: is that the one you want, I'm not really sure how it works, ect ect. I think the small shop where I did my ffl transfer through closed up. Now I have to look for another one close by.
The main reason I went to GM was the EX wants a laser equipped 380 Ruger, hopefully not to use on me, ha ha. Gander did not have any. I see them anywhere for $360-$400.00 on the internet, is this about right? I think the model is LCP????? Not totally sure though. Help appreciated as always.
HM it would be the LCP .380 with crimson trace or LazerMax sight
price seems about right for the lasermax Crimsontrace would be the high end or more IMO the crimson trace is a better laser
Ruger Suggested retail for them is
Crimson trace $559
Lasermax $449
so most sell for about $100 under that
Have one be prepared for some wicked side torque. It almost wants to twist your wrists off if you are not expecting it Great little pocket gun though
No problem HM
I don't think so but maybe a little scary at first if not expecting it
I am a small framed guy I am only 115#'s so I think most women will be OK especially if they have shot handguns before
it has an odd kick & so does the Kel-tec
Like I said it seems to kick more sidways then straight back (or it just could be my shooting style but I do think it is more of the gun Compact very light weight & very short barrel
& I would NOT get it without the laser sights
low priced gun so the gun sights are not the greatest (FIXED)
but Like I said it is a great pocket, pocketbook or ankle gun
you could look at the LC380 little bigger may have better control but no laser sight have not shot one of these yet but based on the LC9
for that matter check out the LC9 suggested retail w/ the lasermax $529
& you get more rounds
Never been to GM and probably never will. I'm not even sure if there are any in Missouri. If any of you live close to Springfield, MO I highly recommend going to the Bass Pro there. It is UNREAL. Plus they have a small "outlet" store right next to the MEGA store there and sells gear and clothing for under 1/2 price. I bought a pair of Redhead BoneDry overalls - fully insulated, for $60 and they were retailed at $175. NOTHING wrong with them- just waiting for me to buy them! lol
