I finally decided to start doing some stocking. Should get 200 rounds of 40 cal today. When I see empty shelves everywhere, even Midway usa, kinda get a feeling maybe I should pick up some extra. Prices are sick!

Yes they are
I was stopping at walmart everyday at lunch but gave up unless you need skeet shot or some Turkey loads it is usless to go & most gun shops around here have Jacked the price up so bad
what I have is what I have for now & have cut back on the shooting for now
Hoping the drop of the weapons band helps a little even though this fight is far from over

We were taking the grandsons to the club for free shooting lessons.Due to a lack of ammo the club may cancel the lessons.

theres a few stores here that or trying to rape us on ammo. Im making a list and will never buy from them again, even when things get back to normal. One gun store is selling 223 for $2.00per rd. I got hooked up with a local ATF certified reloaded and with a few battle packs I already had Im sitting on 1000+ rds of 223 and have 500 more comming. I kinda got caught with my pants down.I usually keep no less than 1k rds per gun.I was doing alot of target shooting and let my stock dwindle without replacing it.

I also been trying to pick up a few boxes of older cal stuff, 250, 300 sav. 38-55 win. Speaking of ammo, I have older paper shotgun shells that have the flat crimp ends in great collector condition. Some day I need to get a book to see how old they are and any value?? Mostly in 16 and 20 ga. They are probably 40's-50's but only a guess.

Its crazy everywhere, even up here. Not a brick of 22LR to be had in this town for several months now. I see a few boxes of 22 Shorts, but nothing in any of the major calibers. If it's handgun ammo you need, the stores have some FMJ but zero HP's or any of the good self-defense loads. .223? Ha, they just laugh at you. I'm fairly well stocked, but we haven't been shooting because I can't replenish anything I shoot. None of the good CF rifle powders are available like IMR4350, RL15 or 17, etc.
It's an insane world right now.

its been a little easier finding ammo here in the stl area. just pick up the phone and someone is bound to have what you need. 22 and 9 are the hardest to find.
