I'm going to take the Win model 70 pre 64 to a Toledo gun show tomorrow to see what I might sell it for. Money seems tight for regular deer hunting rifles even for the classic 70. I think everybody wants a black rifle these days and are missing out on true vintage classics and their great handling qualities. It is called the rifleman's rifle is in win 243 cal and was made in 1957. Maybe tomorrow someone will make me an offer I can't refuse. :rolleyes:

Well here's what I did. I traded for a new H&K compact 40, 4 H&K mags and $500.00 cash for the win 243.

Thanks! I really don't know much about H&K but the book showed them at $1000.00. I had 750.00 in the 243 and the buyer was very pleased on his end. I think we both ended up happy which is what it's all about anyways.
