PA flintlock starts in the morning, but they're saying that by 2 PM it's going to start snowing at a rate of 2-3" per hour.
We're supposed to get 8-12" before it's done.
At least it'll be easier dragging them out.
good luck Delbert, Vermont had a white Christmas with just 1 inch in many areas but that's just enough to muster the Christmas spirit in everybody.
Good Luck to everyone that still has some hunting season to enjoy..

Going flintlock hunting in PA when the snow ends.Should be about 5 inches in my area.Got my first deer,a 4 point buck, because of 3 inches of snow years ago.Saw tracks and beds and sat on a log and waited for them to come back.
Well we didn't come home with any deer but we had a good time being snowed in and freezing on the stands
It started snowing at dark Christmas day crazy wind blowing we lost power about 7;30 had heat still could cook some hot water
woke up to 10" of snow the next morning
we saw deer every day no good shooters
My son in law grazed his first deer at 186 running yards
The next day he learned you cant shoot a buck standing behind trees
His adrenalin was pumping all 3 days
We still have a lot of snow on the ground today
