No Lottery for Bucks!!
 

I was rather surprised to learn that there is no Lottery in Maine for Bucks! I knew there was for a Doe, and for Moose.

Why not the Bucks? Over-abundance? Folks don't like the meat because it's too gamey or tough?

There are, of course, those folks who go "trophy" hunting (not that I don't understand putting a huge rack on the wall, as impressive as that can be), who will WANT a Buck.

Any idea why Bucks would not have a Lottery?
