muzzle loader or slug

Howdy yall. i just bought a new 12 gauge. I also have a thomson center omega .50 muzzleloader. its really nice. I am wondering whether during deer and coyote season if i should use my muzzleloader with 1 powerful shot or my 12 gauge browning semi automatic. If i use the muzzleloader i can shoot farther but only get 1 shot my shotgun i can go slug buckshot buckshot. Any advise?

i cant help you out much because i dont shotgun hunt. i do know the omega is a nice gun and you get good range from it though. if i had to choose i think i would go with the muzzleloader. just make the 1st shot count.
