Well if you opened this to find out about Wild Hogs in New York I dont have that information but would like to know more.
I heard on the radio last week that the wild boar population in central New York is increasing rapidly and starting to cause alot of problems. Anyone know where they live> I would love to hunt them / help stave off the damage / fill the freezer : )
Last year the news had reported some were spotted in the Allegany State Park here in the Southern Tier and I've watched a show on Animal Planet about the population of hogs slightly rising here but I've never seen any.
I cant help you either but if some have been spotted already it will not be to much longer before you have enough to shoot at.. Those things reproduce like crazy..
if they have been spotted it won't take long. they can start mating at 6 months old. gestation time is 3mons,3 weeks,3 days. so, they are dropping 6-9 piglets almost 4 times a year. stock up on ammo. lol
