want to put one on a 40 cal either the Sig or H&K. Price is all over the place and green lasers seem to be higher.

I went ahead and purchased a green laser with a 220 lumen light combo. This will be my primary home defense unit. I'll post a picture after I get it mounted.

To project anything onto a game animal in Illinois is illegal(this is called shining here). If you are talking about red dot scopes I'd advise an Ultra 4 dot?

It's illegal to project any light onto a game animal in Illinois but, if you're talking about red dot sights, yes, I use an Ultra 4 dot on my 629-4 S&W Classic for white tail hunting and an Ultradot L/T on my S&W 22A for small game. Both work great!
Sorry no picture of the 22A but,
