Starter Plot Need Help
 

Hello all,

Im lookin to start some small plots in my woods. the plots would be small less than 1/2 acre. what would be a good brand of food plot to start with. im lookin for somethin where i dont need to use machinery because the spots are hard to get to. any advice is greatly appreciated! thank you :bye:

It's not the best way to put in but garage 5 soybean will sprout and take hold by just hand broadcasting. The grade 5 bean is a late to mature bean and you would need to plant the first or second week of June. That will give you nice green plants in September for bow and early smoke pole season. One bag is enough to cover one acre and runs about 46 bucks a bag. Or get a forage mix would work as well, but I like beans, deer love those sweet leafs. You can talk to your local southern states or other farm supply store.
