Does anyone else check the Almanac for planting dates. I have become a firm believer in the Almanac it is amazing how much info is in such a small book.

you know that is funny you mention that. i usually do check the best dates to plant and have followed them the last couple years, with great success. But this year because of work and other planned hunting trips i had to plant 1 week early. will be interesting to see what happens.
