Plots that can grow in the woods

I live in ohio and am surrounded by farm land and windbreaks large enough to be considered "wooded". With out much sunlight, what would be a good food to plant to attract deer?

to plant where? in the woods or field? plant what they ain't got. if there is standing corn or beans a green plot for early. other than that you just got to be where they are eating.

winter rye grass will grow on concrete in the dark. broccolli, pole beans. the thing is in the winter you want to plant carbs to increase body weight to survire the cold, and in summer you want to plant protein to grow big racks. if you dont have places to plant, plant the road you use to get around on. on my property a have an area that was clear cut several year ago and it grown up thick you cant see five feet in the woods but there is a dirt road that runs down the middle and i planted clover in that road and when its windy the deer will bed in the thickit and sneak out to that road for a snack. then bang!
